She’s sitting in a director’s chair, dressed in an off-the-shoulder black beaded shirtdress with rhinestones. “I’m being f—ed by a chair!” she screams as she adjusts herself, attempting to find the most comfortable position in which to stretch her bare legs.
Just as though on cue, the whole room becomes quiet. Then, before anybody has a chance to blink, Minnelli’s characteristic throaty laugh reverberates across the room. It gives everyone in the room the license they need to scream in delight at what they can’t believe they just heard.
Awkward moments are turned into raunchy jokes about being personal with a piece of furniture by Minnelli, who is still going strong at 73 years old, according to Entertainment Weekly.
David Gest, an American Jewish reality television personality and the ex-husband of actress Liza Minnelli was discovered dead in his hotel room at a five-star London establishment.

By the time Minnelli was 21, she’d been tossed out of hotels because she couldn’t pay her bills, and she’d become homeless, sleeping in Central Park and at the Plaza Fountain, among other places. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, she recounted how she and her friends “had to sneak out of hotels because she was out of bread, and she would create an incredible and amusing game out of it.” Assuring her daughter that she’d “needed a new wardrobe anyhow,” Garland had them put on all of the items they could fit into and go out before the bill was due.
Born in Los Angeles and trained as a music producer, Gest was scheduled to tour the United Kingdom this summer in a musical production called David Gest Is Not Dead, But Alive with Soul, which was set to kick off in York on July 1. In addition, he was well-known for being a close friend of Michael Jackson, who died in 2009.
According to The Sun, a British tabloid, his firm, David Gest Limited, accrued a $500,000 debt during his last months as a result of his addiction to gambling, which was reported in the newspaper.

Following reports that Minnelli had “connected” with Zellweger over the latter’s depiction of Garland in the Rupert Goold-directed film, Minnelli responded on social media with the following statement: “I have neither met nor spoken to Renée Zellweger… Whatever the source of these rumors, I do not endorse or support the impending Judy Garland biopic in any manner.”
The former participant on the British reality television program “Celebrity Big Brother” and Minnelli tied the knot in 2002, but the couple divorced after a year. However, it was only in 2007 that the two were legally separated.
