Last week, a cosmetic surgeon claimed to have developed the world’s most appealing female face, but it turns out that he just Photoshopped an image of Nina Dobrev into the desired shape.
According to Dr. Julien de Silva, who created the composite depicting Jennifer Lopez’s brows, Keira Knightley’s nose, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s noses, he polled 1,000 patients who had cosmetic operations performed at his Harley Street clinic before creating the composite.
However, a short Google search reveals that the picture that served as the inspiration for this “perfect face” was really an old wallpaper image of the former Vampire Diaries actress.
Nina Dobrev’s look when she last appeared on the set of “The Vampire Diaries” was hampered by her unflattering wig and several cosmetic effects (including some dramatic eyebrows) that were applied. Many fans were attempting to determine precisely why Nina looked different and what may have happened to her appearance since she last appeared as Elena Gilbert (and Elena’s other doppelgängers) on the show.
It seems that she had a nose operation in order to narrow her nose. I have no idea why this is happening. It’s also clear that she had eyelid surgery as well as a brow lift. It’s the same procedure that Britney had, and it significantly accelerated her aging process.
I’m not sure why these procedures are performed on young ladies. It always has the effect of making people seem older. You can see how Brit had incredibly attractive hooded eyes before she had the eyelids elevated, which made her eyes seem rounder and more round.
People assumed she underwent surgery to elevate her eyes, but the speculation didn’t end there. Other speculations have circulated as well. In one unrelated beauty and aesthetics community, members were delighted to pick apart images of Nina Dobrev throughout the years, while in another unrelated forum on beauty and aesthetics, they created a laundry list of probable procedures they believed the diva may have had.
After she left the scene to pursue other Hollywood possibilities, some speculated that Nina had really had cosmetic surgery in order to seem more youthful. The picture seems to have been created using Nina Dobrev’s face as a starting point.
In a tweet on Saturday, Nina’s former co-star Zach Roerig, who portrays Matt in the CW series, pointed out the similarities, and several of his followers responded with the original photograph.
Then there’s her immaculate style, beautiful complexion, and flowing hair—both on and off the red carpet—which indicate that her beauty is magical in real life, as well as on the screen. Some folks are just blessed with good fortune.
While we still haven’t quite accepted the fact that The Vampire Diaries will soon come to an end, we happily revisit her best hair and makeup moments as Nina moves on to the next big thing. With lashes that last for days and hair that refuses to fall out, we have little doubt that whatever she has planned will be a great success.
