Rosario Dawson Daughter | Rosario Dawson is attempting to clear the air over the identity of her daughter. It was necessary for the 42-year-old Mandalorian actress to correct others after years of them wrongly referring to her daughter as Lola instead of to by her given name, Isabella.

“It’s quite intriguing. I didn’t tell anybody about her adoption because I didn’t want her to be identified. It’s not like I issued a press release or anything, and I’m not sure where the name Lola came from, but someone decided that she should be known as Lola, and then everyone just went with it without question “Dawson talks about her now-18-year-old daughter on the We Are Family podcast hosted by Parents magazine.

“The information was overwhelming, and I remember thinking to myself, I recall distinctly expressing that when I was older, I planned to adopt an older kid, and I still believe that now. “She went on to clarify.

My family knew her original mother, and when we learned she had been placed in foster care, we went on a search for her. It wasn’t even a question; it is evident that it was meant to be—my she’s the daughter. It’s surreal to think that I was able to materialize this when I was younger.”

“I was like, ‘I’m not going to alter it because I don’t want everyone to know what my kid’s name is,'” she explains further. “In later years, as she grew older, she complained to her mother that when they went out, people would call her “Lola,” which she did not like. As a result, I had to notify everyone at some point. As a result, her given name is Isabella. It’s not so far away after all.”
